This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Maybe I should post something new? I haven't really done much creativity-wise since my son was born...and now he is a year old! Maybe I will be able to come up with something new and different for my gallery, we shall see.
You are welcome! My husband and I are just getting into Airsoft, and your pictures really capture the feel of the game! I look forward to seeing more action shots from you.
My husband has started repairing and reselling airsoft guns to support his new "habit". He comes across a lot of really good deals, but he doesn't know enough about the guns (other than their resale value) to really know what performs the best in the field.I see that you really like to go as a sniper, which is what he is going for (it is what he liked to do in paint ball). Do you have any recommendations for a really good sniper rifle?
Hi ^^ Well, it depends on how much money you want to spent and what style of gameplay you prefer. Generelly I don't recommend sniping for total airsoft newbies, because often it's much less "action" and dynamic than the "normal" kind of gameplay i.e. with an full auto assault rifle. First of all, your husband should know what type of role fits best for him, the firepower vs. mobility argue is a big deal here. For example: You like the more dynamic gameplay with lots of "fast stalking" or a more fireteam involved role of a sniper, you'll need some specific kind of ghillie suit that allows you fast moving and still average concealment in standing or kneeling positions, and you'll need more firepower. A higher magazin capazity aswell as a higher rate of fire is generally necesarry, in cost of less accuarcy. An semiautomatic sniper rifle, such as a gas operatated WE M16 would be a good option in this kind of "P.O.U." (Philosophy of use). Now this is an example for an offense load out and style of gameplay. If he likes stealthy styles, is patient enough and wants to take the very best advantage in terms of range, accuracy and concealment, a boltaction sniper rifle such as a gas operated Tanaka M24/M40/M700/AICS would be a good choice, or even better an upgraded spring operated Tokyo Marui VSR-10. It all has it's pros and cons.
Speaking from experience, I recommend to beginners to start with an assault rifle, or an SMG first. When starting with a ghillie suit and sniping, you can't rely on your firepower only. You have to rely on your camouflage and your greater range than then normal player. That's what makes Sniping so hard in airsoft. If the enemy sees you, you have to retreat because usually you don't have enough firepower. You're operating alone or with a spotter - against a bunch of enemy players with AEG's and 500 BB magazine you wouldn't have a chance if you're to close and get spotted.
There are lots of controversy topics and things in this kind of role in airsoft. I'm also working on a youtube video project to share my experience with other players. Perhaps this might be interresting for you or your husband. I didn't have the time to work on the project the last weeks though - shame on me. But there is just so much to talk about, I can't put it in one message every time
